Well it is really my favorite mango, I am so thankful that my boos give me some of his mango. Now, I am planning what will be the thing to do with this ripe mango. Whether I am going to make it Ice Candy, Mango Float or Mango shake. I think all them are delicious but I have to choose one. Maybe mango shake. Yah mango is one of my favorite fruit. We all know that fruits can give as more energy right? So that's why I really want to eat mango, and that is the reason why I want my mother to buy mango than pineapple. Even to buy a juice I really choose mango flavor than pineapple. I don't know why I don't want pineapple flavor. Publicly-listed SM Prime Holdings Inc. is set to buy back P1 billion worth of its shares to boost the price of its stock amid market volatility.

"The buyback program is expected to enhance shareholder value as management believes the company's shares are currently undervalued in the market," said company executive vice-president Jeffrey Lim.

Lim said the company will repurchase the shares as it deems necessary.

"There are no specific terms and conditions on the reckoning and end date of purchase, timetable and the equivalent number of shares to be purchased," he said.

As of 10:06 a.m., SM Prime was sharply up 2.8 percent or P0.20 at P7.40.

It fell P0.20 to P7.20 on Monday.

Automatic Room Light Design

An ordinary automatic room power control circuit has only one light sensor. So when a person enters the room it gets one pulse and the lights come ‘on.’ When the person goes out it gets another pulse and the lights go ‘off.’ But what happens when two persons enter the room, one after the other? It gets two pulses and the lights remain in ‘off’ state. The circuit described here overcomes the above-mentioned problem. It has a small memory which enables it to automatically switch ‘on’ and switch ‘off’ the lights in a desired fashion. The circuit uses two LDRs which are placed one after another (separated by a distance of say half a metre) so that they may separately sense a person going into the room or coming out of the room. Outputs of the two LDR sensors, after processing, are used in conjunction with a bicolour LED in such a fashion that when a person gets into the room it emits green light and when a person goes out of the room it emits red light, and vice versa. These outputs are simultaneously applied to two counters. One of the counters will count as +1, +2, +3 etc when persons are getting into the room and the other will count as -1, -2, -3 etc when persons are getting out of the room. These counters make use of Johnson decade counter CD4017 ICs.

MANILA - Philippine share prices closed 2.3 percent lower on Friday amid growing concern over the local economy, particularly inflation, dealers said.

Investors shrugged off gains on Wall Street and other Asian markets and fretted over the deteriorating outlook for the domestic economy.

The composite index fell 66.09 points to 2,777.93 points its biggest single-day percentage loss since March 17, when it slid 3.9 percent.

The all-share index lost 26.11 points or 1.5 percent to 1,730.66.

There were 77 decliners and 24 advancers, while 59 were steady.

High Oil Prices

ROME - High oil prices could tip the world economy into recession, the International Energy Agency (IEA) warned on Tuesday.

"That's possible," IEA executive director Nobuo Tanaka said on the sidelines of the International Energy Forum here.

The previous day, the IEA chief had the three-day gathering of oil producers and consumers that oil prices, at their current levels, were "too high for everyone, especially for developing countries who face other significant costs increases", namely food prices.

Information Technology

The Regional Development Council of Western Visayas has named Bacolod City's Information Technology (IT) Investment Program as the Best Public Sector Practice in Region VI for the local government unit category for the past two years.

Under the program, the city adopted a multi-stakeholder approach, according to IT focus team chairman and Councilor Jocelle Batapa-Sigue.

She said the primary role of the private sector is to provide investments, capital and other resources. Support, transparent and pro-competitive policies and framework, on the other hand, shall be provided by the local government, she said.

In 2005, Bacolod was bare of major outsourcing companies and there was lack of international IT enterprises such as call centers.

But despite this, Bacolod was named as one of the eight alternative cities outside of Metro Manila likely to develop into outsourcing hubs in the Philippines. This was based on the "NeoIT Study: Outsourcing to the Philippines: Metro Manila and Beyond," dated September 2005.

NEW YORK - Oil prices hit a record high $117 a barrel Friday as jitters over Nigerian oil supplies outweighed a rally in the dollar and fears of an economic slowdown in giant energy consumer China.

US light crude settled up $1.83 at $116.96 a barrel, before hitting a record $117. London Brent crude gained $1.49 to $113.92.

Oil prices have more than quadrupled since 2002 as supply struggles to keep up with booming demand, especially in China and other emerging economies.

The country’s rice supply crunch will worsen unless the government takes significant steps to address the problem, US-based Standard Chartered Bank said.

StanChart chief executive officer Eugene Ellis believes the rice situation could lead to other problems.

Old buses

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will phase out old buses to give way to pollution free-hybrid units.

The LTFRB said the phase-out will be carried out this year on buses that are more than 15 years old.

"Buses that will not be used anymore will be bought for scrap by financing institutions and will be recycled. The money will then be used as deposit for new units," said LTFRB chairman Thompson Lantion, citing a directive from Transportation and Communications Secretary Leandro Mendoza.

It is now again summer but me I don't have any vacation day now or even rest day I don't have. Because every day have to be in school because I have my duty and my class oh what a life........ ABS-CBN 2007 net profits

ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. (ABS-CBN) made a net profit in 2007 of over P1.2 billion compared with the P740.55 million it earned a year before.

Eugenio L. Lopez III, chairman and chief executive officer, said the strong performance in 2007 was boosted by revenues from ABS-CBN Global, the company's international unit.

The company, he added, also booked a one-time gain from Sky Cable following ABS-CBN's purchase of the cable firm's debt at a discount.

"More than the net profit, I would like to highlight that our EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) last year amounted to more than P4 billion," said Lopez. EBITDA is a measure of a company's operating cash flow.

The company is set to officially announce its 2007 financial results on April 8.
